Sachin Tendulkar's Shell House: Right out of a fairy tale, Sachin's Shell Shaped house situated in Bandra, Mumbai, was a steal at Rs. 35 crore! Brainchild of the Mexican architect Javier Senosiain, it has a snail-like façade with a garden within. The kitchen is tongue-shaped and looks like it is growing out of a wall. The accessories in the bathrooms are shaped like trunks and cascades, to complete the 'living-underwater' experience.

Putin's Palace: Russian President and billionaire, Vladimir Putin has poured his money into a magnificent 750,000-square-meter palace that features a casino, swimming pools, a gym and several helipads and has been compared to Versailles. It is located near the Black Sea coast and is costing him about $1 billion (approx Rs. 4,000 crore).
