Love At First Sight

Believe in love at first sight? Ever felt a smile crossing across your face when a face breezes by you? And then everything changes. The world seems more beautiful, the weather always perfect and your dream girl or guy the most wonderful person on this planet. Well, my friend you are in love.

It can happen to anybody at any place, on any day. At first you fall in love or get attracted to the physical being of a person. As it is said appearance does matter.

After all that’s all one sees when it’s the case of love at first sight. Something catches your attention, like her smile, his physique or the enchanting eyes.

The mood also plays an important role in sealing the perfect moment. If you are tired, sad, angry or irritated your dream man or girl may pass you by without you even glancing back. The nature conspires to bring lovers closer. Also you should be open in your mind to receive love. Hardly ever heard of happily married people falling in love with another and that also love at first sight, right?

It’s a state of mind, knocking the doors of the heart.

So how do you know that you have fallen in love? Of course things look rainbow colored from that moment but friends let’s just get sure.

You know you have fallen in love with her/him when…

  • You see stars in the morning. No, you haven’t banged your head, it’s love. Your life stops and all you can think of is her/him. You don’t seem to get anything done and every moment your sweetheart’s face comes in front of you.

  • You start missing your love like you haven’t seen her in ages, when actually you just said goodbye.

  • Your sweetheart is flawless. You overlook all her faults and weaknesses. You believe true love can overcome all. This is love at first sight.

  • You can’t stop smiling when your beloved is around. You are all happy and joyful. But as soon as he/she leaves, your world collapses in front of you. You become sad and depressed.

  • You are not a very comprising person but your sweetheart changed you completely. Now you are more comprising and a wonderfully understanding person.

So now you know that love at first sight is very much true. Believe in love and make your emotions fly on the wings of joy. On this Valentine, don’t be scared to fall in love. It’s a beautiful emotion that promises to make your world a merry go round. Just remember, love has it’s up and downs.

So rise with the sunshine and open your arms to the Valentine fever.

Hip hop

Hip hop music is a style of popular music typically consisting of a rhythmic style of speaking called rap over backing beats performed on a turntable by a DJ. Rapping and DJing are considered two of the four elements of Hip hop, a cultural movement which began in New York City in the 1970s, predominantly among African Americans and Latinos (the other two elements are breakdancing and graffiti art). The term rap is sometimes used synonymously with hip hop music, though it originally referred only to rapping itself.
Rapping, also referred to as
MCing or emceeing, is a vocal style in which the performer speaks rhythmically and in rhyme, generally to a beat. Beats are traditionally sampled from portions of other songs by a DJ, though synthesizers, drum machines, and live bands are also used, especially in newer music. Rappers may perform poetry which they have written ahead of time, or improvise rhymes on the spot. Though rap is usually an integral component of hip hop music, DJs sometimes perform and record alone, and many instrumental acts are also defined as hip hop.
Hip hop arose in New York City when DJs began isolating the
percussion break from funk or disco songs for audiences to dance to. The role of the MC was originally to introduce the DJ and the music, and to keep the audience excited. The MC would speak between songs, giving exhortations to dance, greetings to audience members, jokes and anecdotes. Eventually, this practice became more stylized, and came to be known as rapping. By 1979, hip hop had become a commercially recorded music genre, and began to enter the American mainstream. It also began its spread across the world. In the 1990s, a form called gangsta rap became a major part of American music, causing significant controversy over lyrics which were perceived by some as promoting violence, promiscuity, drug use and misogyny. Nevertheless, by the beginning of the 2000s, hip hop became a staple of popular music charts and is now performed in widely varying styles around the world.
Origin of term
Coinage of the term hip hop is often credited to Keith Cowboy, a
rapper with Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five. Though Lovebug Starski, Keith Cowboy, and DJ Hollywood used the term when the music was still known as disco rap, it is believed that Cowboy created the term while teasing a friend who had just joined the U.S. Army, by scat singing the words "hip/hop/hip/hop" in a way that mimicked the rhythmic cadence of marching soldiers. Cowboy later worked the "hip hop" cadence into a part of his stage performance, which was quickly copied by other artists; for example the opening of the song "Rapper's Delight" by The Sugarhill Gang. Former Black Spades gang member Afrika Bambaataa is credited with first using the term to describe the subculture that hip hop music belongs to, although it is also suggested that the term was originally derisively used against the new type of music.Article from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_hop_music

Directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, Jodhaa Akbar is all set to be released sometime in the first half of 2008. It stars actors Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles and revolves around the love of Emperor Akbar, the founder of the religion Din-i-Ilahi and his beloved Hindu wife, Jodhabai. Jodhaa Akbar will also witness the debut of newcomer Abir Abrar. Jodhaa Akbar is a 16th century romantic saga based on an arranged marriage between Emperor Akbar and Rajput princess, Jodha that flowered into true love in the time that followed. Political success knew no bounds in the life of Emperor Akbar. After conquering the Hindu Kush, Akbar went on to extend his empire stretching from Afghanistan to the Bay of Bengal and from the Himalayas to river Godavari. Later, Akbar somehow managed to win the confidence of the Rajputs considered the most aggressive of the Hindus, through shrewd mix of tolerance, generosity and force. But little did the Mughal Emperor know when he wedded the proud Rajput princess Jodhabai that he would fall head over heels in love with her. In order to get authentic facts, Ashutosh Gowariker put together a massive research team of historians and scholars from New Delhi, Lucknow, Agra and Jaipur. The director of Oscar-nominated Lagaan, Ashutosh Gowrikar put his heart and soul behind the making of Jodhaa Akbar. The shooting of Jodhaa Akbar began at Karjat in Maharashtra.
