Feroz Khan

Feroz Khan: (25 September 1939 – 27 April 2009) was an Indian actor, film editor, producer and director in the Hindi film industry. For his flamboyant style, with cowboyish swagger and cigar toting persona which revolutionised the style quotient of the otherwise conventional Bollywood hero, he is known as the Clint Eastwood of the East and a style icon in the industry.

He appeared in over 50 films in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and became one of India's best-loved heroes with his role in the 1980 hit film Qurbani, which he also directed. Khan followed this multi-disciplinary achievement by directing more successful films like Dayavan (1988) and Janbaaz (1986). He won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for Aadmi Aur Insaan in 1970, and was honoured with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.
He turned into a successful producer and director in 1971 so as to improve his career opportunities as a leading man with his first directorial film Apradh, which was the first Indian movie showing Car Race in Germany, and Mumtaaz was his co-star in the movie. He produced, directed, and starred in the 1975 film Dharmatma, which was the first Indian film to be shot in Afghanistan and was also his first blockbuster hit as producer, director, and star and marked appearance of actress Hema Malini in a glamorous avatar. This movie was inspired by the Hollywood film The Godfather.

Throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, he was a leading Bollywood star, directing and starring in many of his films. He also starred in the Punjabi film Bhagat Dhanna Jat (1974). The 1980 film Qurbani, with Zeenat Aman, was the biggest hit of his career and launched the singing career of iconic Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hassan, with her memorable track 'Aap Jaisa Koi' [9] In 1986, he directed and starred in Janbaaz, which was a box-office hit.[11], which some consider to be one of his best movies, featured an all-star cast and was possessed of great songs and excellent cinematography. In 1988, he directed and starred in Dayavan, which was a remake of a South Indian film titled Nayagan. After directing and starring in Yalgaar (1992), he took a long break from acting for 11 years.

I my view he is genius film i want to focus one topic might be no one notice this before. I am fan of his presentation of (actress) Mumtaj, Hema Malini, Jeenat Aman to Shridevi....all these actress become sex bomb in just one night not because of skin showing, the way Mr. Firoz Khan present them its mind – blowing....

  • Mumtaz in film Aapradh wearing bikini and this is something very big in early 70s time.

  • Hema Malini in mix kind of Indian Banjara and Afgani look, no skin showing but still looks so hot and totally in new Avtar.

  • Aap Jaisa Koi song from his film Qurbani one of the biggest hit of Bollywood and music company till yet making remix of this song. Even i hear somewhere on TV Firoz Khan went UK at that time for music recording and shoot of this song.

  • Shridevi in Jaanbaz! Actually till yet i didn’t see this film fully because it’s have little hot kissing and love making clips so with family i can’t watch. Dimple Kapadiya is in main role but Bang! Shri devi who have one song and less than ten minutes role in this film become sex bomb in just one night. Again she wearing shari and one full size cotton night gown but her makeup and sari’s create magic on screen.

so my dear friends end of the story is, its not about what you wearing its about how you wearing and Mr. Firoz Khan is expert in it.

Rare blue diamond auctioned for $6.4 million
A rare, flawless blue diamond that was once part of the legendary De Beers Millennium Collection sold for $6.4 million at auction, exceeding the top price estimate but falling short of the 2009 record.
The 5.16 carat pear-shaped diamond was the first gem of its kind to appear in an auction from the collection that De Beers, the world's largest diamond producer, presented in 2000 to celebrate the millennium.
Auctioneers Sotheby's had priced the diamond at between $4.6 million and $5.8 million and it was sold in Hong Kong to London-based gem merchant Alisa Moussaieff who said she was satisfied with the price.
"It's an individual thing and people have got to like it and people have got to see the value in it, but we do see the value and I hope our clients will see the value as well," she said.
The De Beers Millennium Collection comprised 12 rare gems and took decades to assemble. Blue diamonds are among the rarest of all gems and owe their natural color to the presence of the chemical element boron during the stone's formation.
The diamond was the star lot of a gem sale by Sotheby's, which said it had had deliberately kept prices conservative to attract bidding in a still fragile economy.
"I think what people are actually looking for are rare objects of high quality that are hard to find on the market," said Patti Wong, Sotheby's Asia Director.
"So when we assembled the sale we were very mindful that the economy out there may not have fully recovered so we were very conservative with our estimates and clients responded very well to that and competed accordingly."
The overall auction raised $52.4 million, a figure Sotheby's said was the highest total ever for a sale of this category.
The auction's location probably helped: China is one of the world's largest and fastest growing diamond markets, with jewelers forecasting it will be the next big purchaser of rare jewels as its economy surges while the rest of the world still grapples with the global financial meltdown.
In May 2009, a 7.03 carat cushion-shaped flawless blue diamond set the world record price per carat for any gemstone at a Sotheby's Geneva auction when it was bought by a Hong Kong collector for $9.48 million dollars.

after Break up

The end of a relationship often brings relief. This is especially true if you were dating a man and there was constant tension between the two of you. Unfortunately, even if you feel that the break up was warranted and the right thing for you, it can still be hard to get over him. If you are ready to move on and you want to forget an ex boyfriend, there are a few steps you need to take now.

You have to make a promise to yourself to not call your ex when you are trying to get over him. In an effort to make this easier on yourself it's a good idea to delete his contact information from your cell phone. It's much more tempting to call him, if you constantly see his name in your contact list. The same holds true of his email address. Delete him from your address book. This can be a difficult step, but it's incredibly important if you want to eventually forget an ex boyfriend so you can move on.

Removing all reminders of him is the next step. This means throwing out anything that even remotely makes you think of him. Included in this process should be all photographs you have of him or the two of you, any gifts he may have given you and all greeting cards or love letters he wrote for you. If you are still harboring hope that the two of you may one day get back together, this step may not be something you can do on your own. If you know that you simply don't belong together, and you are having trouble throwing everything away, enlist the help of a friend. Tell her that you can't do it alone. Chances are that at some point she also wanted to forget an ex boyfriend and struggled with throwing reminders away too. Most friends are more than happy to help.

This next step is an important one when you want to forget an ex boyfriend so don't skip it. Make a list of all the negative qualities about your ex that drove you crazy. Once you start with this, you'll be surprised by how extensive the list is. Start it one day, save it and then every time you think of a habit of his that annoys you, or something he did that hurt you, add it to the list. Refer back to the list every time you start to think that getting back together with him is a good idea. Keep the list handy, either on a piece of paper in your purse or save it on your computer so you can open it whenever you feel the need. Remembering the things about him that you didn't find attractive or fetching will really help you to forget him and move forward so you can begin a new relationship.

Dating Mistakes

Top 15 Dating Mistakes Guys Make

Okay fellas, the ladies have to hand it to you-- you do a lot of things to make our hearts swoon. You surprise us by taking the initiative to invite us out to dinner-- where we will undoubtedly enjoy a romantic meal by candlelight, talk for hours, spoon feed each other creme brulee-- wait a minute, are those your friends from college about to sit with us? And you wonder why we're mad later. Needless to say, sometimes guys trip up their own game with the ladies without even realizing it. Here's a list of the most common dating mistakes guys make-- so you can keep your game in check.

1. Overly possessive

Stop. Just, stop. If the girl is dating you, she obviously wants to be with you doofus-- there's no need to call her every hour, resort to extreme PDA to show the world she's yours, or be on her back all the time about her guy friends. It's not sweet, it's stifling, and nobody wants to date a guy like that. Except that chick from Twilight-- we guess there are a few here and there that are into that whole creepily possessive, smothering, super jealous deal.

2. Gross living space

Dorm room, apartment, house, condo, parent's basement-- wherever you live, there's no excuse for it to be dirty. No, it doesn't have to be "Suzy Homemaker" clean, but she'll notice the Doritos crumbs from last night's March Madness party, the empty beer cans, and the dreaded dirty socks littering the floor. While your lady friend shouldn't be dating you solely based on your living space, a decently clean room shows her that you not only take care of yourself, but also put in the effort to make her feel comfortable in your home.

3. Acting like a tough guy

Oh, you have muscles and testosterone? We never noticed. No, really c'mon guys-- girls know it, you know it, and other guys know it. You're a man, grrrrrr. So why do some guys start stupid, unnecessary scuffles ("Come at my bro")? News flash-- fights just make us scared, not impressed. So just play it cool and save everyone the stress.

4. Acting differently around your friends

The merging of the two worlds of friends and GF is a delicate task (one that most guys seem to bomb). Just as your main squeeze wouldn't want the 411 about the hot chick your ex-frat buddy hooked up with last weekend, the same goes for your bros not wanting to hear about your latest antiquing excursion. Play it cool, keep the conversations neutral, and your friends will like your new girl as much as you do (well hopefully not as much).

5. Saying they'll do XYZ with no follow through

Everyone has a cell phone these days. Seriously, if you haven't jumped on the 21st century bandwagon yet then you probably aren't reading this and are more likely holed up in the mountains catching fish with your bare hands and wrestling bears. Case in point-- we're betting you have access to a telephone. So stop making excuses and just call a girl when you say you will.

6. Flirting with/checking out other women

Most women have a slight case of the "green eyed monster," but it's relatively easy to keep the beast at bay-- unless given just cause. That quick glance at the waitress' cha-chas? Being overly friendly with your knockout coworker? Talking a little too much about Megan Fox? Yep, she'll notice. We get that you have hormones-- trust us we do, too (especially when it comes to anyone whose last name is Badgley, Pitt, or Damon)-- but do yourself a favor and keep them under control around us, or jealousy will rear its head. And yes, it will get ugly.

7. Baby talk in bed

Urban dictionary defines baby talk as "the cutesy gibberish spoken by 1. Babies and 2. Adults speaking to animals and babies." It's a bizarre phenomenon really, when grown adults turn into babbling idiots in the cute faces of their pets. That said, while it's endearing with puppies and bunnies, girls don't want to be spoken to like that-- particularly in the bedroom.

8. Expecting her to act like your mother

Newsflash-- women are nurturing creatures. Sometimes men try to abuse their goodwill and start treating them more like mothers than girlfriends-- especially in a cohabitation scenario. After all, she's not there to be a mommy replacement-- to clean up after you, take in your dry cleaning, or "make you a sandwich" (thanks teenage boys everywhere for perpetuating this sexist comment). In short, man up mamma's boy and get your act together.

9. Letting your friends dictate your life

Ladies get it-- your bros, brahs, wingmen, fellas, buddies, etc. are really important to you. What women find really aggravating, however, is when you let your friends dictate your life. Ever taken a friend's advice like "make her jealous to win her back?" Wow, good one man-- she just broke up with you. See, while their intentions may be good, they're not experts, and girls would prefer that you discuss your relationship issues with them instead.

10. Threatened by her job

Sometimes it seems as though the best way to test a man's commitment isn't to gauge his reaction when his significant other is down in the dumps-- after all, anybody can deliver ice cream and rented movies-- but rather gauge his reaction in the face of success. If the BF is overjoyed for his GF, he is definitely a keeper. However, far too often, men are threatened by a woman's success-- two words guys-- not cool.

11. Hypocritical standards

Nobody likes a hypocrite. That annoying "do as I say, not what I do" mentality loses its merit fast-- especially when it translates to your relationship. Either adhere to the standards you go by for her, or run the risk of coming off as controlling.

12. Not having your own life away from her

Scientifically speaking, in the first six months of dating, dopamine and serotonin levels peak, creating a form of obsession with your significant other. Once you transition out of this phase, you feel attached to your partner deeply, but often begin pursuing interests that have fallen by the wayside. Just don't forget the step where you start persuing those other interests. Nobody likes a needy guy.

13. Bringing up previous relationships

Talking about an ex a lot-- whether in a positive light, as in "I'm totally at peace with the situation," or in a negative light-- i.e. "I can't believe I dated that w----," sends one very clear, unnerving message-- he's not over his ex. Bringing up past girlfriends to use as ammo in a fight is a terrible idea-- lest you want to start WWIII. You don't have to ignore her existence, but you also don't need to bring up her name in every convo, either.

14. Treating others poorly

When men are first dating someone casually and trying to impress them, one major red flag is when they treat people poorly. While we sincerely hope he won't go as far as to put a fumbling waiter in a headlock, just being rude to a taxi driver or making a scene with the cashier worries ladies that they may be dating a narcissistic psycho.

15. Inflated ego

When it comes to dating, big ego = big turn-off. No one likes a know-it-all with an inflated sense of self. When guys talk a big game or boast about past conquests, it makes girls wonder what they're over-compensating for-- and chances are that they won't stay in the relationship long enough to find out.
