Dell introduces new 14 inch and 15 inch XPS

Dell has extended its XPS line of laptops to include a 14-inch and a 15-inch model with shiny new Ivy Bridge chips from the Core i5 and Core i7 selections. Both the models get USB 3.0 ports, mini DisplayPort, and HDMI port, Waves MAXX Audio 4, backlit chiclet keyboard, multi-gesture trackpad, and an integrated HD webcam.
The XPS 14 appears to have been designed to be a daily workhorse with a promised battery-life of up to 11 hours, up to 8GB of RAM, and a choice between an integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics or an NVIDIA GeForce GT 630m. The starting price for the XPS 14 is $1,099. The XPS 15 packs more punch with up to 16GB of RAM, BD drive, optional GeForce GT 640m graphics and up to 1 TB of storage on HDD. These machines start selling at $1,299.
