Serra Sabanci: She is a board member and shareholder of the industrial and financial conglomerate Sabanci Holding and one of the directors of the Sabanci Foundation. She graduated from the Department of Economics, Istanbul Bilgi University with honors. Her father Ozdemir Sabanci was gunned down in 1996 in his Sabanci Towers office in Istanbul by assassins hired by leftist armed group DHKP-C. Fahd Hariri: Fahd Hariri is the youngest son of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. He inherited stakes in his father's construction, telecom and real estate conglomerate - Saudi Oger after the latter’s death in 2005. Hariri serves on the board of the family's TV network - Future TV, a satellite and terrestrial television network covering the Middle East; but resides in Paris. Eduardo Saverin: Co-founder of Facebook, his relationship with Facebook soured when he was sued for allegedly interfering with business and insisting on keeping his 30 per cent stake. He currently has a 5 per cent stake and a co-founder bio on Facebook's site. A Forbes report states Saverin has been selling shares and now holds a 2 per cent stake in the social networking site. Albert von Thurn und Taxis: This young chap first appeared in Forbes magazine’s rich lists at the age of 8, but he officially inherited a vast fortune in June 2001, on his 18th birthday. Von Thurn has an MA in economics and theology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. His assets include real estate, art and a tech company, plus 30,000 hectares of woodland in Germany, one of the largest forest holdings in Europe. He currently lives in the family castle, Schloss Emmeram. From Germany; age: 27; net worth: $2 billion (approx Rs. 8,900 crore).

Yoshikazu Tanaka: Founder of Gree, Japan's largest social networking site, Yoshikazu Tanaka may soon face off with Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg for he is setting up in California too. He started out at Sony; then worked for fellow billionaire Hiroshi Mikitani at online shopping site Rakuten. He resigned in 2004 to set up Gree at a tech incubator; and later transitioned the site into mobile gaming to compete with rivals. Kostyantin Zhevago: He is Ukraine's youngest billionaire benefiting from rising iron ore prices; stock in his iron ore producer Ferrexpo doubled over the past year. A graduate of Kyiv State Economic University; Zhevago is a parliamentary deputy; his party is in opposition to President Yanukovich's Party of Regions. This football fan also owns FC Vorskla. Dustin Moskovitz: The world's youngest billionaire, Dustin Moskovitz, was Mark Zuckerberg's Harvard roommate and Facebook's third employee. Only eight days younger than Zuckerberg; the two dropped out of Harvard and moved to California to work for the social networking firm full time. He was its first chief technology officer and then vice president of engineering. He resigned in 2008 to start Asana, his software company that allows individuals and small companies to better collaborate. Yang Huiyan: Yang Huiyan is the main shareholder in Country Garden Holdings of Guangzhou, China's largest property developers. Yang graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in marketing and logistics. The company's chairman is Yang's father, who transferred his holding to her in 2007. From China; age: 29; net worth: $4.1 billion (approx Rs 18,000 crore).

Mark Zuckerberg: The movie ‘Social Network’ brought Mark Zuckerberg's journey to becoming the social networking czar in the limelight. His innovation Facebook has undoubtedly taken this Harvard University drop-out to major heights at 26. Over the last year his fortune surged 238% to $13.5 billion because investments from firms like Goldman Sachs boosted Facebook's valuation to about $50 billion. Sergey Brin: Brin is the co-founder of search engine, Google. He migrated from Russia at age 6. Born into a family of mathematicians on his father's side, Brin's mother was a research scientist at NASA. He met co-founder Larry Page in a computer science PhD programme at Stanford University.
